You are collecting personal information, what is your privacy policy?
A:
Books from the Heart promises never to sell, share, trade or give away and of your personal information to any outside vendors. This includes names, phone numbers or addresses.
When placing an order with Books from the Hearth, you are agreeing to receive e-mails or US Mail about new products and/or special offers. If you do not want to be notified, please send us an email with your name and email address and we will remove you from our mailing list.
Exception
The only exception to our Privacy Policy is in regards to debt collection or fraudulent activity. Books from the Hearth will send all pertinent information to an outside collection agency, Attoney General office, credit reporting agencies and any other organization deemed necessary to collect any funds due or to curtail fradulent activity.

What happens to the information I give?

Any personal information supplied to us for your books or other products will be kept confidential. We will not release your name or e-mail address to other parties that are not involved in the filling of your order. (ie credit card company, distributor)

Q: Order arrived late
My book arrived after my child's party, can I return it?
A:
Because the books are personalized and can not be resold, and because we can not guarantee the speed of the USPS, we will not accept returns of late orders.
Q: Book out of stock
What if a book I order is out of stock?
A:
If a book you have ordered is out of stock, we will notify you by e-mail within 24 hours of receiving your order. It will take approximately 2 weeks longer to receive your book if it is out of stock. If you do not want to wait the additional time and would like to choose a different book just let us know.
Q: Mistakes
What if there is a mistake with my order?
A:
We guarantee that if there is an error in your book due to our mistake, we will gladly replace the book free of charge. We make every effort to provide you with the highest quality in personalized books. To prevent errors, please double check your order forms before submitting them.
We are not responsible for errors due to incorrect information that you supply to us. We will fix it however at a minimal cost.

Q: Sales tax
Do I have to pay sales tax?
A:
Orders shipped to an address within Arizona are subject to the appropriate 8.126% Arizona sales tax.
Q: Processing/Shipping
What is your order processing and shipping policy?
A:
All orders will be processed within 2-5 business days provided the books are in stock. RUSH order will be processed with 24 hours of receipt.
If your book is out of stock, you will be notified within 24 hours.
Please allow extra processing/shipping time between November 1 and December 31.

USPS Media Mail shipping
Books being shipped Media mail will be received between 10-14 business days depending on mail time.
Cost of Media Mail shipping is by the following:

$14.96 to $29.95 ............ $3.40
$29.96 to $44.95............. $4.80
$44.96 to $59.95............. $5.30
$59.96 to $73.95............. $6.80
$73.96 to $74.99............. $7.30
$75.00 and over............. 20 percent of total
USPS Priority shipping generally takes between 5-7 business days depending on the mail time. We ship USPS priority mail with a tracking number.
Cost of Priority Mail shipping is the following:

YES, The payment portion of the shopping cart is guaranteed secure. Your credit card information is entered through a secure server. After processing your order this information is then deleted from the server and not saved or stored in any computer.
Q: Mail Orders
Can I send my order by mail?
A:
Yes, if you would like to send your order by mail simply mail completed order form with payment to: Books from the Hearth PO Box 2233 Flagstaff, Az 86003 (Allow more time if paying with a Money Order or Certified Check.)
Q: International Orders
Do you accept international orders?
A:
We will accept orders from Canada and the UK.
All licensed characters will only be shipping in the US.
